Last night the House of Vans Manchester weekend kicked off with a Family dinner preview evening – it was R-A-D! It was good vibes as soon as I walked in and spotted the infamous Black Sheep skate store family too.
The Size? x Vans Sk8-Hi Art exhibition by local artists takes one corner of the B.EAT Street venue, along with a bar and Coffee specialist TAKK bar. The other side of the room has other activities like the House of Vans photo booth and monogrammed Vans Sk8-Hi’s by Man Up Girl. After we’d taken our seats and eaten dinner, Jenna & the G’s acoustic session kicked off the weekend’s live performances perfectly.
Thank you to Vans for my new Sk8-Hi’s and to Man Up Girl for the custom embroidery! Had a good night, good vibes all around, roll on the rest of the weekend’s activities!
See some of my photos from Thursday’s event and more details of whats going on this wekend at the bottom of this post. I appoloigise for the low quality for some of the photos, the lighting was too dark for my old iPhone. Hope to see you all this weekend!
Head down from 9pm tonight for the public opening and official party, See the Size? x Vans Art exhibition, have a drink, get in on a photobooth and see the likes of Jenna & The G’s, 8 Gold Rings ft Fox and Sparkz, Madam X, Roy Davis Jr and Shadow Child.
Manchester’s number 1 skater owned store have teamed up with House of Vans to bring you some bespoke skate obstacles for you to hit up over the weekend. Come down Saturday for a fun filled day of shredding with £1000 prize purse!
To top the weekend off, The Black Sheep will host a skate jam outside the shop with the skate obstacles. the Black Sheep family know how to host a great day with beers flowing and a bit of cash of their own to chuck in!
See you there!
