You may remember back in April I caught up with Remz pro rider Nils Jansons for an interview after the release of his first pro wheel with BHC Wheels… whispers of his 2nd pro skate had been circling from then…… well now the wait is over!

The 22 year old Latvian shredder has been celebrating the release of The Nils Pro 1.5 this weekend at Monsterparks in Latvia with rollerbladers from all over at his very own launch party/skate jam to mark the latest addition to the Remz boot family!

“It’s been a long trip and I’m glad I took it. The new promodel 1.5 is officially out NOW. I’m blessed to have such an amazing crew of passionate people around me. It’s all possible because of you guys. The very improved Remz ready for your feet. THANK YOU”

It’s come at no surprise that Remz have paid homage to the Latvian ninja in the form of a 2nd colourway in the Nils pro boot. Remz have always seen that Nils was destined for great things, after recently recovering from serious ACL surgery, growing from strength to strength with the release of his BHC Pro wheel and now, his improved pro skate as he returns to smash the rollerblading world once again.

Nils Jansons 1.5 Pro BootThe boot itself is a fresh white base with subtle red and black upper details to accent against the white and give the boot a clean finish. The new skin has been re-moulded and re-cut to give a secure fit around the shell and to help to reduce the bulkiness of the skate giving it that ‘slimline’ effect. The inner features the Remz ‘TrueFit’ liners with a brand new redesigned heel area to allow a more precise heel lock and secure support, along with a new improved full length soft PU cushion insole instead of the usual rubber heel shock absorbers. The complete skate comes equipped with the latest Ground Control FL3 framesNils Jansons BHC Pro wheels and ABEC 7 bearings so you’re ready to roll straight from the box!

Directed, filmed and edited by Mārtiņš Jansons.
